Hello,

I have been finding teeth for years but just recently have I gotten into hunting excursions so forgive my nescience and my inability to identify these (but I'm learning). I found these two in Surry, Va. Although they are similar in size, curvature, and overall look, there are subtle differences. The roots of these two are noticeably different in shape. Are they the same type of tooth? What type of tooth/teeth are they? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

P.S. I love the coloration on the orange spotted one.

First: Lower Hemipristis Serra, the "Snaggle-toothed" shark

Second: Lower Mako (Isurus sp.) maybe desori or hastalis
