Hey forum fans! The new look on the page is killer. I don't know who did the background work, probably DW, but it is a very fitting theme for prehistoric monsters... oh, and of course Halloween too. I like the graphic though and personally think we should stick with this and just redecorate for each seasonal event, or holiday, but that will be up to the executive BRF staff.
So let's do a forum vote folks and let the boss know what we think!
Megornot votes approximately 363 times, once for each tooth in a Meg jaw, that BRF keeps the cool background.

Just a thought from the Megornot.

Well, I'm new to this forum and it may just be a holiday thing, so I will expect turkeys soon and then snow and Christmas decorations. I still think that with a title like"Black River" the black background was very fitting even withuot the pumpkins.

We both have a bunch of learning to do here, but if you want to get into the fossil gig I can't think of a better place to get your groove on.

A lot of the guys & gals, I think? on the forum are very educated and know fossils very well. I started collecting at a young age and did not get too involved in the whole science of teeth and fossils until about 8 years ago, so that would be the part I still have some learning to do on. As far as collecting and where to collect I don't have problem with that at all and could help 3rd graders find Megalodon teeth. Theres nothing wrong with networking with the collectors on this site to improve your chances of being a successful collector and learning to recognize what you find.

Daryl told me that PCS (I think that was it but I dont feel like checking) can send a 5 gal. bucket of stuff to schools so I might ask about that. Mabie I can buy some from them if they dont still do that.

I've never heard of the reject spoil being sold from there, but I stopped and filled a few containers this past May and I am still getting teeth from it. A 5 gallon bucket would pack some teeth and other fossils from that mine product, you should try and see what the deal is on it. Shipping cost for that kind of weight could be steep, but I don't know how the schools work the deal.

One other item Mike, we should move to ramblings, as I think we have worn out the Techno-issue in this forum and should be in that area, or fossils in general.
