I bet some of those larger fish you catch have cool jaws. Have you ever put a head in an ant pile and let them clean it off for you?

That's a carcharocles angustidens, the evolutionary grandfather of megalodon. Congrats on the private site that produces! Those are tough to come by!

It's possible. There is a Pleistocene formation somewhere offshore and that's where the fossils come from that wash up on the beach. Plus, river banks are always a good place to look. Kudos for taking your kids fossil hunting. It's such a great activity!
